I can't understand why there are so many people who rate this direct with 8+. There was actually no big AAA game annoucement.

If some people rate this direct with 10/10 how much points would the Sony E3 conference with FF7 Remake, TLG and Shenmue 3 deserve? 25/10? lol I guess by the poll that most of the voters are Nintendo biased.

I normally defend gaming presentations from the fact that most of their games won't release for a long time. It's a presentation, you rate it on how well it sells you on the brand and the products, on how well it presents stuff to you, not based off a release date chart.

But you come in here, and brag about an E3 conference which is more than 3 years old, where only one of the three games you've listed is even fucking out, all for the purpose of what ... ? Trolling? I mean I don't think you were trying to troll but you definitely knew what you were doing when you wrote this post. You knew how it would look, how people would react. But you did it anyways. That's just as complicit as a troll.

Sony's E3 2015 and 2016 are legendary. But why did you list those and not 2017 and 2018? Oh, I know why. Because those conferences were boring. They were feeding us information that for the most part we had already known about. And were 2013 or 2014 really that much better? No. Sony's direct wasn't an alignment of the stars, it was a calculated business measure, and one they couldn't replicate more than twice. They happened because they came at the perfect time in the PS4's life.

Comparing a random direct to very specific Sony E3's is just odd. But sure, I'd only rate this an 8.5 and I'd rate those higher. But the difference is not that drastic when you take into account the differences in what a direct is supposed to accomplish versus an E3 presentation.  Both were very good at what they do.
