That's ironic you saying that.

Imo this is the new standard for Nintendo portables. Higher price of hardware and software. Connection to allow it play on the TV. If you're saying this isn't the 3ds successor then you're most likely saying Nintendo are out of the portable console business. Because apparently this is a home console that can be just taken on the go.

Imo we won't see Nintendo ever releasing 2 consoles at a time again. Switch is 3ds successor and instead of making traditional home consoles they will just give their portable consoles the ability to be plugged into the TV.

Do you have something to backup such a claims? I have your previous post like clear example.

But that's a point, Switch is not handheld its a hybrid, and if you look at Switch only like handheld devaice definitely has high price point. You again missing point, I didnt said what Switch is, but what Nintendo saying Switch is, and they saying its console not handheld, and again reason why they saying that is because Switch hardware and software have price point of home console not of handheld. Talking about reality, Switch is a hybrid, home console and handheld in one, its successor to 3DS and Wii U, but they still dont want/cant to pushing it like 3DS succors also because still has high price point for handheld and 3DS is still on market, but they will change tone when they have price point of around $200 or release Switch Mini/Pocket (that I susspect will be just for handheld play) that will effectivly replace 3DS (handheld) price point on market.

Nintendo will stick to one platform in future also, we will not see from them two totally different platforms like we had before (3DS and Wii U, DS and Wii..), and margin handheld and home consoles platforms in one is one of their best moves.

Successor to the 3DS and Wii u. Couldn't agree more. I said this for years and so many disagreed. I don't think 3ds will get a separate successor because switch is it. It's aiming for all the handheld market sales 3ds and ds aimed for but with the added bonus of aiming for the Wii u market aswell
