Well it looks like i do get it because ever since reveal I've been pushing the idea it's a hybrid with the handheld side being its biggest selling point. 

Or when Switch hardware and software has price point of home console not of handheld, and because of that they want to ensure people that Switch has higher value, like home console not like handheld.

Now you changing goals and taking things out of context.

Imo this is the new standard for Nintendo portables. Higher price of hardware and software. Connection to allow it play on the TV. If you're saying this isn't the 3ds successor then you're most likely saying Nintendo are out of the portable console business. Because apparently this is a home console that can be just taken on the go. 

 

Imo we won't see Nintendo ever releasing 2 consoles at a time again. Switch is 3ds successor and instead of making traditional home consoles they will just give their portable consoles the ability to be plugged into the TV.
