Well that handheld capable console has price point like home console not like handheld, while handhelds were always much cheaper than home consoles in Japan.

It launched cheaper then any home console by Microsoft or Sony. It certainly isn't modern day traditional home console price. It's in between which makes sense because it's a portable console with the ability to function with a TV.
