The is a lot more to it then you think people here in forums may complain about the 3DS but the reality of the situation is that giving the 3DS a good send off is just as important as in years to come the Switch will be the one having a long life so rather than just drop a userbase they're phasing it out in a way that will help migrating of consumers and build long term confidence in future platforms.
