And you care about what I think because...? Anywhere, I don't particularly care, but I think this is quite despicable from Sony. That's not to defend the others either, of course, especially since Microsoft was in a similar situation during last generation.

Lol because you are on an online forum and because opinions usually have some justification to them.

If you need to ask such a question then perhaps your need to rethink using online forums.

Anyhow, it doesn't matter what Sony says.

It's not like Microsoft says they are doing cross play because they' user base trails Sony significantly, or because it's a money play.

Nintendo doesn't say they do it because they want more 3rd support, or because it's a money play.

Everything all these companies do is for money first and foremost.

I know the situation with the other companies. What Sony says, however, feels like an excuse to me, but what the others have said haven's seemed like excuses to me.

1. Do you believe everything a company says in its marketing material? I don't, and that's why I don't consider this the real reason.

2. I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to get at here.

3. I disagree. Here we have a disagreement that's the result of fundamentally differing points of view though, so discussing this point any further is probably pointless.

1. What a redundant question. It seems you did not read and understand what is written underneath the link.

2. Indeed. As so many others don't understand.

3. I agree. No point in continuing. Not because of fundamentally differing PoVs. Fundamentally there is no fundament for your viewpoint.

4. See, this what am talking about. There was no outcry, because Cross(Platform)Play wasn't made relevant by anyone. There was no "similar situation".

1. What a way to dismiss someone's opinion. "You don't understand." Well, it seems like you don't understand my opinion, so let's use that as my argument from now on.

2. You don't seem to understand my issue.

3. I agree. Your point is quite unclear and difficult to understand and you're clearly unwilling to clarify it, so no point in continuing. Have fun reveling in your superiority!

4. Ah, another case of "you don't understand".
