Alot more people use guns to protect themselves from all crime than to murder people by gun in the US. That's in fact a net positive. If guns were made illegal tomorrow, the US would suffer across the board from it because people couldn't legally protect themselves anymore.

It doesn't matter what happens in some other country because they don't have same the culture, laws, issues or pros the US has. That's also you trying to change the goal post because you can't defeat my claim on its own ground.

People couldn't legally protect themselves anymore? That's funny.

Speaking of moving the goalposts, nobody in this thread has made the argument that guns should be made illegal. And if you go back to the beginning of the argument chain you entered, you'll find someone who says that pro-gun people love to use the straw man argument that people who are in favor of stricter laws want to outlaw guns altogether. How right that person was, don't you think?

Plenty of people alluded to it in this thread. It's not a strawman to assume an anti-gun person's stance when the left in general believes that guns should be banned. Anyway, it's not worth bothering with ya since you're acting like Ace Ventura when he's asking for a tip.
