Tuesday news, part two:
Remake of Resident Evil remake 'wouldn’t be laughable', says Capcom

Capcom plans to "explore" more remakes following Resident Evil 2, we learned earlier this month. Where exactly it'll cast its net remains to be seen—but it seems reimagining the Resident Evil remake isn't out of the question.
In conversation with Game Informer at Gamescom, director Kazunori Kadoi said he and his team are keen to get the incoming Resident Evil 2 remake out of the door first, before turning their attention to what might be next. The Resident Evil remake—launched in 2002 for the Nintendo Gamecube; remastered in HD in 2015—however, isn't beyond their purview.
>>Remakes of remakes...*shakes head* This is starting to be like the movie industry, where they remake the same movies over and over.

The fallout from European loot box rulings continued over the weekend as Blizzard announced that it is removing paid loot boxes and chests from Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm players in Belgium. The country's Gambling Commission ruled in April that the loot boxes available for purchase in Overwatch and other games contravene Belgium's gambling regulations.

Following last week's full v5.30 update, this content offering brings Shockwave Grenades, gold-plated weapons and a new limited-time mode. Built to "knock players back and destroy objects in their path after being knocked back", Shockwave Grenades prevent allies, enemies and vehicles impacted by the projectile from taking fall damage.
Onimusha is coming to PC in early 2019

Elderly PS2 game Onimusha: Warlords is coming to PC on 15 January 2019, Capcom revealed today. You can watch a trailer above.
Capcom promises high-definition graphics, a widescreen display option, support for analogue sticks (the 2001 original didn't have this, if I recall) and a new soundtrack. You can also play on easy mode from the start, whereas the original only offered the option after you'd died a bunch of times. It'll cost $20, and while the feature list there isn't particularly exciting to me, I'm sure some completionists will welcome the chance to own it on PC.
