Problem with a Pokemon MMORPG, is that if they make it - it might be the last Pokemon (true) game they ever make. Nintendo did actually mention about 5(?) years ago that they were working on a MMORPG - but said that we wouldn't see anything soon.
I suspect it may be a launch title on their next handheld - maybe due in 2 years. Now that online is no longer an "if" with Nintendo, expect them to use it more heavily on all future consoles.
And if it does happen - I think it will be more likely to be a DS title than a Wii title. I would just love a Wii Pokemon game that mirrors the DS ones - with proper RPG elements, catching of wild Pokemon, etc.
Maybe the moves to get Ragnarok online onto the DS is the start of their intentions...
(if WoW can have 6m+ subscribers, how many could Nintendo rake in with Pokemon??).
