On the one hand, the right to bear arms is so strongly ingrained in American culture that outlawing them entirely would likely be a process that would take decades. There's not really a simple, quick solution to the problem.
But on the other hand, some people seem to have this mentality whereby if there's not a solution that'll eliminate gun crimes 100%, then there's no point doing anything to try and mitigate gun crimes, which just seems bizarre.
