I hate the trend of dividing the userbase into two. Just let the Switch live its lifespam uninterrupted and then jump with another more powerful console. Mid-generation upgrades are still iffy to me, especially on Switch. Developers already have to program two different configurations (portable and docked), if an upgrade came along they would have to develop four (docked, docked HD, portable, portable HD).
