I'm very happy with my Switch. I've played plenty of good games on the Switch already and it still feels like the games I want to play are coming out faster than I can play them. I think there are plenty of games out there for current Switch owners to keep them satisfied.

The main problem with 2018, IMO, is purely a business one. They saved all of their big guns for the end of the year. Smash, Pokemon Go, and Mario Party are going to be the best selling Switch games from 2018. For whatever reason, they are saving them all for the end of the year. While 2017 had a bigger, better first party line up and they spaced their big games out throughout the year.  I would think that it would be better business for them to have spaced out their big releases in 2018 too.
