Why do games need to be compared to their own genre? We have countless "greatest games of all time" lists consisting of dozens of games of varying genres ranked above or below one another. We're just talking about which is the better game here to play today. Plus these are fairly similar games anyway.

How are these games similar? Im curious.

Also how do we compare games with two completely different game styles and eras. Its like saying which is better, basketball or soccer. You wont get an honest answer because its all preference and down to the individual.
