I'm proud to be myself. Being proud simple due to race and/or gender seems so weird to me. I have pride in my own accomplishments, not by the genetic code that I had no choice in. I guess other people feel pride in something they themselves had zero involvement with? Kinda weird. Pitiful actually if that's their source of pride.
