Thought it was very impressive considering this is Switch in handheld mode and that the Galaxy S9 Plus is around almost $1000 with top of the line mobile specs. That's the power of a dedicated gaming handheld.

Comparing this to Digital Foundry's video, it's clear this vid wasn't running in the epic preset. With the Epic quality setting, Switch does get beaten, but not by much.

Only basically in res undocked. Switch undocked still has console object assets, better effects, textures, geometry, LOD, TAA?, steadiest framerate, and controllers +res is still pretty on par at (1280x720 dynamic). I still agree with Digital Foundary's conclusion that Switch is the portable version that they would go for.

There were a good amount of things looked over in the video though that others have concluded, all that I've listed.

However the iOS version doesn't actually have better "draw distance" than Switch. It has better foliage draw distance. You can see that in DF's video:

The mountain in the distance, which is more rounded and has a higher polycount on Switch than on the other versions. (it's not supposed to have a pointy peak)
