I agree, and I've mentioned that before.  Even opened a thread on it over 3 years ago, but there were those who insisted I was wrong and VGChartz has never bothered to make the adjustment.

Also ps2 sales total here should be 156.4m since sales in Japan are 21.93m not 23.18m... 

 

 

Ps2 shipments total as of march 2012 is 155.1m, sony kept shipping the super cheap ( 99$ ) ps2 units in some emerging markets till march 2013.  

Was it 1.3m? Who knows ( they combined shipment data of ps2 with ps3  in that fiscal year ) , but it wouldn't be much more than 1m for obvious reasons, for instance its shipments dropped to 900k in CY12Q4  ( holidays ) from 1.20m in CY12Q3     ( 10th year, extremely impressive sales . )
