That direct was great, I thought that was better than the E3 showing they had of Smash. This one was just nonstop hype.
Holy shit this game is packed! Ultimate indeed. Had they announced some sort of adventure/singleplayer story mode that would have literally just been the cherry on top, there's so much content there already even before that, but maybe that's the mode that they haven't revealed yet.
This really makes me think of how great the trailers for Smash are, that King K Rool trailer at the end was hilarious. It had such nice little touches of humor and was really enjoyable and funny to watch. I especially loved how King Dedede pranked them first and was laughing since it felt like a troll/joke from Sakurai as well towards all the people who wanted the character in Smash for so long, lmao.
