I don't wanna sound like a dick or nothing but here are a few numbers i've dug up from online about the video game market size:

Worldwide Total Game Hardware & Software Sales
2002 - $20.7 billion
2003 - $23.2 billion
2005 - $29 billion

Not to mention the boom in market growth from 2006 to now. We're talking about a market that's 40 to 50% bigger than it was in 2001.

Doesn't that make the fact that the PS3 sales of today are barely edging out sales numbers from 2001 seems like a "not very impressive" accomplishement?
