based on what they said in the E3 Direct, I didn't expect to see ANY more characters, if we're being honest. Like, sakurai said 'since we're bringing all old fighters back, I hope you don't mind that we aren't adding many new fighters.'
I assumed that meant we got like, Ridley and Inkling and that's it.
And considering the character roster, I would have been okay with that.
