The placement they have would need still some further explanation on things, but is the only place BotW could go though. The swapping of Link’s Awakening and the Oracle games makes no sense though. The linked Oracle games end with Link sailing away on a boat that looks exactly like the one that shipwrecks at the start of LA, obviously directly connecting both games. LA should be after OoX, there is no other way. |
BOTW's placement looks to me that it is the fate of Hyrule regardless of timeline, they all end up there even if the events leading to it are different meaning the timelines fuse back into one which is why we have all the races present from each timeline. BOTW is either a fixed point or an event in a singular timeline long after a fixed point where the timelines have merged as one.
