The swapping of Link’s Awakening and the Oracle games makes no sense though. The linked Oracle games end with Link sailing away on a boat that looks exactly like the one that shipwrecks at the start of LA, obviously directly connecting both games. LA should be after OoX, there is no other way.

Given the timescales mentioned in Breath of the Wild, it had to be in some far-flung future ahead of the rest of the games. The Beasts/Shrines etc were built 10,000 years before the events of Breath of the Wild, at a point in time in which the events of Ocarina were in the distant past (the Zora history stuff indicates this).

As for swapping Link's Awakening, that seems very strange. Why change it now? Unless they're doing something with Link's Awakening...? *crosses everything for a remake*
