Nothing but praise was sung for Octo Expansion, and BotW's expansion was pretty meaty as well. That and Nintendo's already been doing a good job with GaaS multiplayer titles. As mentioned, Nintendo was bound to go down this path sooner, but it's not a bad practice on paper, especially since they're so adamant about only starting work on DLC after the base game is completed.
