So Nintendo has made DLC for almost every game that it released in 2017. At the same time 2018 has been a bit of a slow year for Nintendo, when compared to 2017. Should Nintendo be focusing on all this DLC, or would they have been better off putting all that effort into having one or two more games for earlier this year?

I haven't really made up my mind on this, but there are arguments both for and against it.

On one hand, most of Nintendo's DLC has been sort of lackluster. I mean, is BotW and Splatoon 2 DLC really all that good?

On the other hand Torna: The Golden Country is practically it's own damned game at this point, and it's become something I'm looking forward to as much as full blown AAA game offerings.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Is Nintendo's newfound love for DLC good for them? Good for consumers? Or do you wish they just made more games?
