Software sales were good, especially for the big games. Hardware is decent but could have been better even with one high(er) profile game. But eh, it's still smooth sailing I'd say.
Personally in this first half of the year I actually bought a Switch, so that's good, though not with any 2018 game. For the rest of the year maybe I'll get Smash. I have 64 and Brawl so the pattern is I always seem to skip a generation, but this is not a planned thing so who knows... I also need to get Hyrule Warriors which would be a 2018 game, but that's more for collection-purposes. I liked that game on WiiU though.
