The fact that he chooses to be a superhero despite the fact that disrupts the way he lives his normal life strengthens the overall fact that he's a superhero. Peter Parker chooses to use his powers for good, despite the fact that adopting the persona makes his life much worse and he has to suffer for it. Spidy is good, his selfsacrifice is very real and tangible. Deku of my hero academia remembers him on this aspect.
