Again, to what extent do we defend as you put it? Are you suggesting we go to war over it? That's crazy. Do you have sources that's credible on those? I said that dems are using the russians' attempt to hack/influence our politics to discredit Trump. If Hillary won and the same info came, the liberal media would be quiet about it. I didn't mention the intelligence agencies at all. |
Just wondering, what do you believe the US should do. Should the US just call it even and move on or should they keep digging and try to find out exactly how deep this whole hacking and interference goes. As far as damages goes, the US can do a lot and they can send a strong message to the rest of the world and place Russia in a tight situation against other nations. This isn't some isolated event that just affect the US, Russia has interest all over the world and being caught interfering with other nations always have huge consequences. It really seems like you do not understand the global aspect of the accusations and the damage they present.
It appears you seem to view the whole issue as just Trump and this seems to make you dismiss it because it appears to be just an attack against him. I believe you are missing the complete picture. No one knows yet if Trump has anything to do with Russia efforts. We will find out exactly what Mueller has been able to collect or not collect at the end of his investigation. It would also be in Trump best interest if he had no involvement in Russia efforts and comes out scott clean. He needs to stay out of his own way if he is innocent. Trump actions, I have to say sure make things hard to believe he isn't involved in some way but the burden of proof will always be with the accusers.
