Based on a short analysis I did on the Switch's sales performance across Amazon, I suspect that Switch scarcity might be returning to continental europe. I first found it odd that despite Amazon Prime sales, the switch was not showing up in the high positions (despite being the highest placed across most sites over the past months), then I noticed that almost across all Amazon sites asides from the UK, the SKU sale price is anything from 10 to 40 euros above the RRP for the basic console SKU. The I noticed than in France (where it is worst), the SKUs are currently being fulfilled by 3rd parties at significantly higher prices to the RRP (up to 40 euros above RRP).

It does appear this is less the case in the UK where it seems to be at par with the XBone and the PS4, the other 2 have 2 SKUs in the Amazon top 100 while the Switch has 4 albeit at lesser positions to the other two. It also has so many bundles that are outside the top 100, some of them in the low 100s.
