All of the major countries try to influence each other's elections and politics. This is nothing new.

Russia didn't successfully hack the election or change the results. Trump did not collude with Russia. The US is not being controlled by Russia. This is just conspiracy nonsense and a convenient political club to hit Trump with.

So let me get this straight.  Because Russia was not successful in hacking the election or changing the results all is good.  We should go out of our way and say, better luck next time and move on.

Trump supporters keep telling us how tough Trump is and how he doesn't take crap from these other nations.  Trump supporters say how he is not like Obama kissing  and kneeling to other nations.  Just a week ago the same people were singing the praise of how tough Trump was during the NATO talks.  Now when Trump has a chance to show everyone how tough he is, he clowns himself on the national stage.  The sad partus that he could have held his ground but in Trump classic fashion he walked back his words reading from some script he couldn't even get right.  Everyday Trump clowns his supporters as you try to defend everything he does as if he uincapable of making a mistake.

Because they weren't successful by any metric and we do the same thing to other countries even to allies, it's actually not a big deal. We adjust our security measures to close up holes and arrest some operatives then move on. It's not like we're gonna go to war with Russia or put him on trial.

He's perfect in why Trump supporters voted for him which is not because he's the perfect conventional politician or that he seems like a good moral example to everyone. Libs don't get it. They bitch that he doesn't act like a politician but that's one of the reasons why people voted for him.

Trump likes a mix of tough talk and flattery in negotiations and getting people to do what he wants. What matters is his actions and policies.
