This guy is likely spot on. Trump has been involved in shady business shit ages before he ran for president. If it ever came out he'd be thrown in jail (it's also why he'll never disclose his tax returns):

Trump was laundering Russian money for close to a DECADE. For *Putin's friends" (and occasional rivals). Putin has bank records he could release that would put the entire Trump family in jail forever.
