Looking at this, if it hadn’t been for Monster Hunter World, PS4 and Sony would have taken a huge cultural hit in Japan. Every game at the top of the chartz helps to pull the other games for that system up. Can you imagine if Monster Hunter World would have been released for Switch instead of PS4? It could have been RIP Sony in Japan. The next few years are going to be interesting.
