It was a wise choice porting it to Switch.

It's slightly below launch aligned in Japan. Though after the next holiday boost the PS4 version basically flatlines, so maybe there the Switch version can get past, as right now they move at the same speed

Also worth taking note of is that every Disgaea game has been ported a few years later and the late port always did worse than the original.
