How exactly point that PS4 and Xbox are not comparable to Switch make you be constantly negative about Switch sales and potential? "Nintendo home consoles are usually failures"!? In what world? NES, SNES, Wii are sussccfule consoles, GC and Wii U are failures, N64 is not success but its not failure also, so how exatly Nintendo home consoles are usually failures? Also from start was obvious that Switch has much more common things with Wii, it wasnt normal home console and normal handheld, but that didnt stop you being negative, even when was obvious that Switch will be success and was selling great, you said that Switch sales will fail of a cliff after holiday season. Just to remember you, Switch is still selling similar to PS4 in same time period and like you wrote "by itself on market" (even thats not true if you look at Switch list of games), maybe Switch will be near PS4 sales and even suprise at end, who knows, but point is that Switch is selling very good and that will be very successful in any case, and regardless PS4 you don't have any reason to be constantly negative and low expectations only about Switch, for instance Switch is selling from launch around 2x stronger than XB1 but you realty comment XB1 while you are obsessed with Switch. At end, you can make excuses for your behavior much you want, but reality is that you dont like Nintendo and Switch and you constantly hope Switch HW and SW sales will be lowest possible and thats why you constantly have only toward negatives and low expectations only about Switch. And again, "Switch sales will fail of a cliff after holiday season" was clearly wishful thinking without any logical reason to backup such a claim. |
Everyone knows what xbox one is gonna sell, whats' the point of talking about it? The system only sells well in the US, and every one know it's gonna finish in last place at around 45-55 million.
As for nintendo consoles usually failing, well i meant in the 3D era when it had sony as competition, thats when home sales sales grew into a new level. going back to 2d consoles nintendo was king, but that's a different era.
When i said switch sales would fall of a cliff. I did think sales will go down, in the US in europe, and expected japan to pick up the slack, and it would finish flat for the year, it was also to counter people saying switch would destroy ps4 sales. the hyperbole was annoying, the thing hasn't been out for a year, and all you heard was switch will sell 150 million, will ps5, xb go hybrid. I love gaming now cause of switch, switch has got me back into gaming. I probably dislike the fans way more because of ridiculous hyperbole, but its nothing against nintendo. As for switch selling like ps4, it's really not, switch is falling behind, and most likely over tracked by a good amount.
