Don’t get me wrong, Splatoon 1 and 2 were worth their $60 price tags to me. Though Some would argue that Splatoon 2’s graphics weren’t that much improved from the original and the single player wasn’t as good as the original (though the Octo Expansion seems to make up for that).

im just citing examples of how some believe otherwise of what you’re saying in terms of what game deserves (or not) to release at $60.

I never played it on the Wii-U so I don't have that comparison, just the amazing looking Switch title.

You could be right indeed, there will be people who buy the game when it launches and I'm hoping it does great like I said, love SE's work and would love to have more of that on my Switch. I just mean for me personally, I find that price tag to be a thing stopping me from getting it day one, see at the moment I've got close to 80 Switch titles, so I'm not at a loss for something to play, so if something is out which could interest me, I have a backlog that I can go and enjoy while waiting to pick up the game at a reduced price down the line or see if there is a sale on it @ Amazon or other stores. Kinda invested a ton early so I can be a cheap ass now :D

I don’t necessarily blame you for not buying it day one. Even though I don’t have much time to play games and have to manage my own money, I have kinda been overwhelmed with how many games are there for Switch. I haven’t even gotten Mario Tennis Aces or Hyrule Warriors and I want those games.
