The one downside to all of this is that you have to make a new profile every month but anyway, here's how it works.
1.Go to your Xbox live dashboard sign out of any profile you're on.
2. Hit sign up for xbox live and enter all of the necessary info
3. When you're done signing up make sure you select the silver profile and after you do, Xbox live will ask you if your sure. Hit yes and you will be offered a month free trial of gold.
When the month is up rinse and repeat steps 1-3
P.S. You can do this as many times as you want so you are basically stealing a month at a time. Happy gaming!
