Why console crossplay will mean nothing in the long run

I get what y'all are saying bit crossplay possibly with xb1, Switch & pc for warframe has been mentioned as a possibility and that means something in the longterm for the game. If there is crossplay with xb1, Switch and pc then the game will be updated faster for xb1 & Switch with ps4 stuck on the later updates.
