I think the kissing scene to open up TLoU2 was a move by Naughty Dog to gain publicity. They knew it would stir the pot and drum up some interesting debates online. Personally, watching that scene made me very uncomfortable, and I, too, would not like to see that sort of thing. That's not to say I don't "accept" the LGBT community, but I do admit that it makes me uncomfortable and I'd rather see without it.
