It's this time of the month: Steam Stats
Here are the shares of the DX12-compatible GPUs. GTX1060 showed up with 0.34% and both GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 had good growth: the Pascal-family is already at 2%.
No numbers for the RX400-series yet although it launched before the GTX1060 :(
The growth of active Steam accounts sped up again according to SteamSpy estimates... now over 184 million active users:
Based on all these data I estimate the number of Steam-PCs that can keep up with PS4 + XBO fidelity around 44 million units, so still in the ballpark of the PS4 hardware base and its growth. Over 18 million Steam-PCs should be "VR recommended" systems so far... as estimated the "VR ready growth" is speeding up, even without the RX 480 + RX 470 numbers.
Windows 10 (64 bit) gained another 3% and is now on almost every second Steam-PC: 49.55%. If we include the 32-bit version, Windows 10 is on 51.33% of the survey Windows-PCs.
