I find it funny how F2P being locked is somehow a bigger issue than millions of plaeyrs being able to play with one another.

Honestly with everyone else but Sony being on board, Sony's side seems like the bigger issue, and other devs are talking about it. Both are shitty, but Sony being the last player in crossplay is becoming more of an issue by the day.

i rather have that my f2p game is actually f2p and not f2p after spending money. its a stupid anti consumer practice making people pay for something that is f2p.

also on the everyone else is on board part. here is a article wich points out that a large group of people are indifferent or dont want/need crossplay

https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2018-04-12-do-gamers-really-care-about-cross-platform-play

it seems that cross-platform play adds little value to gamers' purchasing decisions with 58 percent being "Indifferent" to it, eight percent of all respondents felt "Fairly Negative" or  "Very Negative" about the push for cross-platform play from the games industry while 34 percent saw it as a positive trend

Technically paying to play online is anti consumer, let alone regarding what comes with it as "free", when in reality you paid to gain access to said "free" games.

I honestly don't care what one article thinks it states. Developers, studios and other people around the world cite crossplay as being valuable than a mere few F2P games.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
