Movies & TV - I, Tonya - View Post

I absolutely loved it and thought Margot Robbie really nailed it as Tonya.

Making it a dark comedy and acknowledging how awful everyone involved and their circustances were, as well as not shying away from the fact that everybody still gives wildly variying accounts as to what really happened, was the best way they could have gone with it imo.

You can't help but walk away with a grudging respect for Tonyas toughness. I'm happy they highlighted how unfairly she was treated because of her background as well as her athletic scating style, while still showing that, while a product of her circumstances, she's also an awful person.
