If I were Sony, I wouldn't really give that much of a damn about the DS considering that the sales of the PSP are pretty damn good, and that by the end of its lifespan it will have sold more than everything except the OG Game Boy, GBA, DS, PS1, PS2, and Wii.
Yeah, the PSP is being outsold by the DS, but so is everything else.
