The bigger question is whether MS reacts. I have no clue what they will do but seeing as they're paying $1.15 billion to fix all the broken 360's out there it's going to be hard to lower the price unless they are simply giving up all hope of ever making a profit on the xbox venture.

Before people continue to misquote, the 1 billion to 1.15 billion dollar loss is an estimate. It doesn't mean that when they announced an extended warranty that they suddenly lost 1 billion dollars. That's what they expect their losses to be. It's possible it won't cost them that much, or could even cost them more.

Just wanted to point that out.
