Or it's the other way around : Sony having lowered the retailer share and Amazon wants to have exactly none of it. The gaming outlets like Gamestop and Best buy have to take it as they are in no position to refuse it since PS4 consoles and games are still their bread and butter for income, but someone like Amazon who has a much more versatile offering in its shop actually won't feel much from refusing a worse deal than they had before. 

Not too bothered about who is to blame really, as long as it helps the Switch to sell as much as it can. The Switch reigns supreme on Amazon and long may that continue.
