That makes sense. So I guess if Amazon bought as much as Walmart, they'd get the same deal?

I mean, in theory it would help.  But these are all deals negotiated periodically, so it wouldn't happen overnight.  But Amazon is not really interested in increasing its overhead, it just wants that same deal.  Which is where the conflicts come from.  No idea how frequent this is with products outside the game sphere mind you.  Amazon probably has more leverage elsewhere.
