Fortnite - warning DO NOT play on PS4, or you can't play on Switch (and quick start guide if you're sheltered like me, and didn't know about this game before)

Im sorry? You expect anyone to actually believe that EG 'might not' have considered even in the face of it being the PS4/ X1 policy for the game in addition to Sony doing a full system wide lockout of crossplay btw the PS4 and both the X1 and Switch?

So EG are also incompetent on top of not warning Switch users (heck they didnt even warn X1 users)

I have not the slightest idea, I'm not familiar with how EG operates behind closed doors.

Maybe EG is incompetent like you suggest or maybe they are not contractually allowed to warn users of the restriction: if I were Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft, I wouldn't want users knowing they're about to potentially sabotage their EG account in some way by linking it to my network. I wouldn't warn the user either and EG could do little to influence the messaging I provide to the users of my network.

Of course this issue is only there to begin with because of Sony's policy which contrasts to Nintendo's and Microsoft's.
