Well... I just paid for a year and its about 6 bucks a month. Having a blast right now. no need to download, pretty cool, and I get to play all the ratchet and clank games I did not :D and all the other games.
Of course its competitive it just depends what you want to play.

I could say the gamepass is not competitive because it does not have any PS exclusives. Your definition of competitive is just YOUR definition.

What is PS Now competing with exactly? Its more like an option.

If want to compare PS Now and Game Pass. They aren't really competing because their focus is different. Sony's service primarily thrives on old content and lack of BC, its the only way to play PS3 games on a PS4. MS's service also relies on 7th gen content as well, but does a much better job at offering 8th gen content. Most importantly, Game Pass is appealing to new subscribers by offering 1st party games at launch.

I don't really see them as competitors because Sony isn't really trying to make the service successful. Its just an option for playing some old games, that's fine but its regular price is too expensive.
