Ellie isn't Joel daughter, unless you mean that she basically became his surrogate daughter, which does feel like it honestly. Still, we've known ellie was attracted to girls, but for all we know, she could be bi. It's fairly bold for the developer to re-reveal or remind us of it when all eyes are on it but I welcome it. Glad to see you showing some love to some of the smaller titles, there's a plethora of fantastic indie/AA games on the horizon that get overshadowed with our petty fights about exclusives.
