Better to have it too early than too late lol Also im flooded with games to play all the time so announcing games early just makes it better to know what I have to look forward to in the future, and possibly prepare my wallet. It doesn't affect my gaming life in any negative way.
Also, ever saw a movie trailer and we all thought 'man that looks like garbage' ...well at that point its too late to change the movie, but not for video games if shown early enough :P
