Well, that's subjective. I don't think the titles you have listed showcase the Xbox One X. Heck, I would have said the same thing about the Playstation 4 Pro, had I not played God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn on the system. Both games are excellent at showcasing the Playstation 4 Pro, and more importantly they justify its existence. But I totally respect your opinion.

That is if we assume Remedy will make an exclusive for Microsoft's next generation hardware. The fact of the matter is that neither of us know - how about we just leave it at that?

Of course it is, but can you wholeheartedly say that Xbox One X comes across as the most powerful console on the market, when comparing the visual fidelity of its games to titles like God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn on the Playstation 4 Pro? Sure power is nice, but what difference does it make when it isn't utilised?

Keep in mind games like God of War and Horizon look good on base hardware, the Pro basically boosts its pixels from 1080p to 1440p.

Only way to bench mark these mid gen consoles is to make games built from the ground up exclusive only to there hardware.

The X is doing what its power was suppose to do and thats 4k. Sure it would be nice if MS made graphical movie style games like Sony however there more focused on creating old school experiences rather than the modern movie game hybrids.

I would also add that still to this day that Ryse is an incredibly beautiful game and for a launch title that required 10% GPU power dedicated for Kinect, it still stands tall many years later especially running in native 4k.
