It goes completely against the core gameplay, which is Tennis. Sure there are special shots and such but purposefully breaking the racket is beside the point of the sport. And the consequence is also stupid. It's as if you are kicked out of the race if you get hit by too many shells in Mario Kart. More isn't always better and there is already plenty of depth in the game.
Good games achieve depth in gameplay without adding more and more features, but by having a solid foundation.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
