It's a problem because these are tied to a third party account DESIGNED to freely move across platforms. And the issue is not that Playstation just blocks this. No, it's that they will let you transfer in like all the other platforms BUT NOT OUT. And they provide NO warning. So you can freely move between Switch, Xbone, Mobile, and PC but the moment you transfer to PS4 it locks all your progress to PS4. And so from then on it is PS4, PC, and Mobile. No Xbone or Switch. And again, no warning. If Sony wants to block this, they should block it entirely. Not lay a trap to try and force Switch and Xbone players to change to PS4 by holding their progress and purchases hostage.
